Graphic design that makes your business look its best.
From brochures and business cards to social media graphics and exhibition stands. Professional graphic design that is consistent, on-brand and delivered promptly. No agencies, no account managers.
Does your brand look as good as your business actually is?
You can have the best product or service in your market and still lose business to a competitor who simply looks more established. Design is not vanity, it is a commercial asset. A brand that communicates credibility earns trust faster and converts better.
Graphic design for print, digital and everything in between.
I design logos and brand identities for small businesses that want to look established and credible. Not generic icons or template marks. Genuine, considered design built around your business, your market and your customers.
Every logo comes with the full brand system: colours, typography, supporting elements and guidelines, plus files in every format you will ever need. Nothing is held back.
Everything included:
- Business cards and stationery
- Brochures and leaflets
- Social media graphics and templates
- Email newsletter templates
- Exhibition banners and display graphics
- Presentation decks
- Advertising graphics (print and digital)
- Signage artwork
- Brand asset creation
- Print-ready file delivery
- Web-optimised versions included
- Revisions until right
A brand identity that looks professional, communicates consistently across every touchpoint, and makes the right impression in the first seconds of any customer interaction.
Two decades of design and marketing experience, applied to making small businesses look as established as they actually are. See a recent branding project.
What goes into a brand identity that actually works
A logo is one part of a brand, not the whole of it. A brand identity is a system: the logo, a colour palette, typography, supporting graphic elements, and the guidelines that keep them consistent everywhere your business appears. The value is in the consistency. When your website, your social media, your print and your signage all look like they belong to the same business, you look established, and established businesses win trust faster and convert better.
A cheap template mark gives you a picture. A considered identity gives you a system you can apply to anything, that still looks right in two years, and that a customer recognises before they have even read your name. That recognition is the entire point.
Design that sells, not just design that looks nice
Design is a commercial asset, not decoration. A first impression forms in seconds, and a brand that communicates credibility earns the benefit of the doubt that a scrappy one has to work hard to win. The question is never just "does this look nice", it is "does this make the business look trustworthy, and does it support the sale".
That is where being a marketer first changes the work. I design with conversion in mind, because I spend my days on the marketing side of the business, not only the creative side. A brochure, a landing page graphic or a logo is judged by whether it helps the business win work, and that commercial lens is what separates design that earns its fee from design that simply fills a brief.
Frequently asked questions about graphic design
How much does a logo or brand identity cost?
Individual design work starts from around £350. A full brand identity, logo, colour, typography, supporting elements and guidelines, costs more, and I give a fixed quote based on exactly what you need rather than a vague range.
What do I get with a logo design?
The full system, not just a single image: your logo in every format you will ever need, plus the colours, typography and supporting elements and guidelines so it can be applied consistently. Nothing is held back.
How long does design work take?
Straightforward jobs typically turn around in about 48 hours. A full brand identity takes longer, because it includes review and refinement, but you always deal directly with me, so there is no agency queue.
Do I own the files and the copyright?
Yes. On completion you own the work and receive print-ready and web-ready files in every format. There is no lock-in and nothing held hostage.
Can you match my existing brand and work with my website?
Yes. I can work within an existing brand, extend it consistently, or refresh it, and because I also build websites, the design and the site stay joined up rather than drifting apart.
What file formats do you provide?
Everything you need: print-ready vector and PDF files for print, and optimised versions for web and social. If you ever need a new format, you have the source files to produce it.

How I design a logo and brand identity.
A clear process from first conversation to completion. No mystery, no surprises.
Brief and brand review
I review your existing brand assets, logo files, brand guidelines, existing materials, and understand what needs to be created. Most projects start with a short call or a written brief.
Design
I design your materials using your brand colours, fonts and style. If your brand guidelines are not documented, I work from your existing materials to stay consistent.
Review and amends
I share designs for your review and feedback. Revisions are included until the design is right. I would rather spend an extra round of amends than deliver something you are not happy with.
File delivery
Print-ready PDFs for anything going to a printer. Web-optimised versions for digital use. Editable source files where relevant. Everything labelled and organised so you can find what you need.
What clients say.
"Searching for website designers gave us a long list to choose from, but we're so glad we found Richard at Harrison Mann. He's been incredibly helpful with digital marketing advice and support, and thanks to him, we've now got a solid plan in place to boost footfall at both of our salons."

"We wanted more control over our website, as we'd been relying on another agency to make updates. Being able to change content ourselves quickly was important, and the custom WordPress website now lets us do just that. The new site has already helped boost our sales."

"After opening our new flooring showroom, I knew we needed a strong online presence. Finding the right website designer in Bradford made all the difference. We now have a great site that shows up locally for the keywords our customers are searching. It's the little percentage improvements that the team have really helped us with, we're already seeing more people coming through the doors."

Honest answers about the design process.
Design is subjective but it is not random. Here is what the process looks like in practice.
Straightforward jobs like social media graphics or a business card design: 2 to 3 working days. Brochures and complex layouts: 5 to 10 working days. I will always give you a realistic timeline upfront.
Yes. I need your logo files (ideally AI, EPS or SVG), your brand colours (hex codes or Pantone references if print) and any fonts you use. If these are not documented, I can work from your existing materials.
I supply print-ready artwork to your printer of choice. If you need a printer recommendation, I can help with that too. I supply CMYK PDFs with bleed and crop marks as standard for print jobs.
Yes. Retainer arrangements from £350/month work well for businesses that need regular materials, social graphics, email templates, event graphics and so on. Predictable monthly cost, direct access to me.
