A designer focuses on how a site looks. A developer focuses on how it works at a code level. Most projects need both. I do both, designing the visual experience and building it in clean, custom code without shortcuts.

No. I build custom WordPress themes from scratch. Page builders produce bloated HTML, slow sites down and make the underlying code difficult to maintain. Custom themes are faster, cleaner and more flexible.

Yes. I take on development work on existing WordPress sites regularly. I audit the code first so I understand what was done and why, then fix or improve from there. I am honest about whether a site is worth fixing or needs rebuilding.

Yes. I build custom WordPress plugins for specific functionality. This might be a custom booking system, a bespoke pricing calculator, an integration with an external API or a custom membership system. If you can describe it, I can usually build it.

Security hardening is built into every build: limited login attempts, strong authentication, file permission hardening, database prefix changes, removal of unnecessary plugins and regular update schedules. I do not treat security as an afterthought.
