Logo Designers

A logo that earns trust before you say a word.

Customers form an impression of your business in seconds. A well-designed logo communicates credibility, professionalism and personality before a single conversation. A poor one communicates the opposite.

The challenge

Does your logo let your business down?

Your logo is the most visible asset your business has. It appears on your website, your business cards, your vehicles, your email signature, your proposals and your social media. If it looks wrong, everything it touches looks wrong.

Your current logo looks amateurish next to competitors and undermines your credibility before you speak
You have a logo but it was done on Fiverr or a free tool and you know it shows
No consistent brand - different colours on the website, business cards and social media
You paid someone and received a generic stock icon with your name on it
Your business has grown but your brand still looks like it was made in year one
You are about to pitch to a bigger client and your brand needs to look the part

How it works

How I design a logo.

A clear process from first conversation to completion. No mystery, no surprises.

01

Brand discovery

I ask about your business, your target customers, your competitors and the impression you want to create. A logo for a law firm needs to communicate differently to one for a food business. Understanding your market comes before any design work.

02

Research and concept development

I research your sector and competitors, then develop 2 to 3 logo concepts, each taking a genuinely different creative direction. Not variations on one idea. Each concept is fully considered and presented with context.

03

Concept presentation and feedback

I present the concepts with rationale, not just images. You choose a direction to develop. If nothing feels right, I talk through why and develop a new direction. I do not rush you to a decision.

04

Development and refinement

The chosen concept is refined in detail, proportions, spacing, colour, weight. Two rounds of revisions are included. Most logos are finalised within these. If more are needed, I will discuss options with you.

05

Brand system

The approved logo is developed into a full brand system: primary and secondary colourways, icon version, typography pairing, usage dos and donts. Everything needed for consistent, professional communication.

06

File delivery

Complete file package in every format. AI and EPS source files for printers and designers. SVG for websites. PNG with transparent background. PDF. JPEG. All versions (dark, light, colour, mono) clearly labelled and ready to use.

Kind words

What clients say.

"Searching for website designers gave us a long list to choose from, but we're so glad we found Richard at Harrison Mann. He's been incredibly helpful with digital marketing advice and support, and thanks to him, we've now got a solid plan in place to boost footfall at both of our salons."

"We wanted more control over our website, as we'd been relying on another agency to make updates. Being able to change content ourselves quickly was important, and the custom WordPress website now lets us do just that. The new site has already helped boost our sales."

"After opening our new flooring showroom, I knew we needed a strong online presence. Finding the right website designer in Bradford made all the difference. We now have a great site that shows up locally for the keywords our customers are searching. It's the little percentage improvements that the team have really helped us with, we're already seeing more people coming through the doors."

Honest answers about logo design.

No jargon, no overselling. Here is what the process looks like in practice.

Why not just use Fiverr or an AI logo tool?

You can. For some businesses, that is the right call. But if you are investing in marketing, a website or client relationships, your brand is working constantly on your behalf. A considered logo designed around your specific market does a job a generic icon cannot.

How many concepts?

2 to 3 fully developed concepts, each a genuinely different creative direction. I do not show 10 options, each concept represents real thinking and real work. You choose one to develop further.

What if I do not like any of the concepts?

We talk through what is and is not working, I refine the brief and develop a new direction. It has happened occasionally in 20 years. I do not abandon clients if the first round misses.

How long does it take?

Logo only: 1 to 2 weeks from brief approval. Full brand identity with guidelines and stationery: 2 to 4 weeks. The main variable is how quickly you review and respond to concepts.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions.

Yes, completely and immediately on final payment. All intellectual property rights transfer to you. You can use your logo however you like, forever, without royalties or licence fees. I provide the source files so any designer or printer can work with it.
Everything. AI and EPS (editable source files for designers and printers). SVG (scalable vector for websites). PNG with transparent background (documents, presentations). JPEG (general use). PDF (print-ready). Dark and light versions. Colour and mono. Full set, fully labelled.
Yes. Logo refresh and evolution work is often more effective than starting from scratch, you keep brand recognition while modernising the mark. I will tell you honestly whether a refresh or a new logo makes more sense for your situation.
Yes. Once the logo is approved I can design the full stationery set: business cards, letterheads, email signatures, compliments slips. Print-ready files supplied. Find out more on the graphic design page.
Yes. Most logo projects lead into a website project. I build custom WordPress sites and Shopify stores and apply your new brand consistently across the entire site. Combining logo design and web design into one project is usually more efficient and cost-effective.
Small changes to brief during the concept stage are expected and included. If the project fundamentally changes direction after concepts are approved, I will let you know if that affects the timeline or cost before proceeding. No surprises.
